Issue Area: HIV vaccines, immune-based therapies, immunology and pathogenesis

Mission Statement

1) To enhance the understanding of vaccine- and IBT-related issues in the treatment activist community and promote the involvement of treatment activists in research & policy decision-making processes.

2) To significantly contribute to advocacy efforts to speed the development of effective HIV vaccines and immune-based therapies.

3) To provide an ongoing forum for discussion & dissemination of the latest research in HIV immunology and pathogenesis and to advocate for (and support) enhanced efforts to delineate the mechanisms by which HIV causes immunodeficiency.
